This qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. In doing so you work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. You may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other staff.

To achieve this qualification the candidate must have completed at least 240 hours of work placement as detailed in the assessment requirements of the units of competency if a student is unable to find appropriate work placement, Hammond Institute will assist in finding the work placements.
